rey takes han up on his job offer and with some fancy canon-divergence kylo doesn't choose violence ( or as i speculate that han activated the lightsaber himself because his son couldn't do it and why he asked for help ) they all say fuck the first order and live that sweet smuggler lifestyle. could also do something where kylo doesn't kill han, but he stays with the first order/the dark side, so rey is taken under han and chewie's wing in addition to her apprenticeship with luke.

this could also entail her and finn becoming smugglers together with their own ship or the falcon after kylo ren kills han solo and she doesn't feel like getting wrapped up in the war.

maybe instead of joining up with the resistance, rey and finn join han, becoming smugglers together under han and chewie's guidance and eventually getting their own ship to start their career together.

found by luke or han when he retrieves the falcon from jakku, young rey is taken to join luke and ben to learn the ways of the force. with both of them together, would things have turned out differently for ben or maybe they both turn to the dark side.

would also love if finn and/or poe were also found for this. a force-sensitive poe would have been trained before ben, but they are close enough in age that they could have been friends and with finn being older than rey, he would have been found first and could have helped her adjust.

where rey was the one that went to the dark side, could be tied in to an academy verse where she or both her and ben were trained by luke or we could go with her TROS lineage. i just think it's a neat idea to possibly play rey as the evil murderous one and good ben trying to bring her to the light/save her. empress rey can be found at empery.

rey is a scavenger in the wastelands living her best life until getting mixed in with the war between the new republic/resistance and the first order.

this can be with rey and ben as the senator and jedi or rey against any character really. i'm good with her in either position. would also be interested in doing this with other canon characters, cross canon/medium, or original characters.

would also love to do this with finn or poe where either of them is the politicians and rey's the one tasked with guarding them. could also have finn as the jedi and rey as the politician, could also do empress or emperor's heir and he's tasked with protecting her.

THE BEST LINEAGE, FIGHT ME. seriously, i can go on for days why i think rey should have been a kenobi. preference to have her lineage be from obi-wan and satine.

i've been tossing around the idea of palpatine having clones of rey. maybe the original rey has been groomed to become emperess while rey no one is a clone that was stolen away by one of palpatine's clones and his lover to raise as their own. also what if the praetorian guards were rey clones? just, you know, conspiracy theory things.

also tros ending where ben dies, but his consciousness goes into a clone without his memories and rey has to fight to get him back from the remnants that remain of the first order/force him to remember.

rey loses her hand or arm during a battle and she (or ben) builds herself a new one. could be flipped around where ben is the one to lose a limb.

as an orphan growing up on the harsh and unforgiving streets of earth, rey's life was a struggle to survive, and as soon as she was old enough — or thought she was old enough since she had no records of when and where she was born or her age — rey enlisted with the alliance military. as a young biotic who was easily moldable into the officer the alliance wanted and needed her to be, rey was recruited into the villa early in her service career. eager and desperate to make a name for herself, she endured the grueling regiment at the school — often training for more than twenty hours a day.

through sheer determination, she graduated from the villa with n7 designation, participated in the graduation ceremony on arcturus station, and was immediately thrust into service aboard the ssv midway which came to an early demise due to a batarian attack — or so they say — on a routine scouting mission.

rey (young or canon age) finds herself stuck in the past, taken on my obi-wan, anakin, or anyone really to help her train in the force and become a proper jedi ( don't come at me LET ME HAVE THIS ). can be as rey nobody or rey kenobi, might be willing to do rey palpatine but i prefer the other two heritages over the latter.

ALSO INTERESTED IN REY BEING TRAINED BY MAUL, maybe after he's fallen from grace after being replaced and sensing the potential within rey ( any heritage ) trains her in the way of the sith. she can find herself in the past for this or maul in the future, possibly taking her on as an apprentice after luke's continual refusal has rey looking for help elsewhere. i also love this comic.

could also do other characters from the prequel series find themselves in the future helping the resistance, training rey, or even finding themselves mixed up with the first order if they're so inclined.

had the idea of obi-wan getting stuck in carbonite while on tatooine when luke was still a baby/small child and force projected his consciousness into the galaxy to help train force-sensitive children/bring comfort to them, while still being able to accomplish some of what he did in the original series, but there are obviously some differences or we can discuss the canon divergence. maybe rey stumbles upon him while scavenging on jakku as his carbonite self was found by the empire. another idea is that his carbonite statue has been long forgotten and eventually found by the first order where rey finds him while she's trying to flee starkiller base.

the possibilities are endless, give me everything.

the comics illuded to poe being force-sensitive and i would love to find a poe to write against where rey helps him hone in on his force abilities and understand them better. finn, poe, and rey traveling throughout the galaxy finding other force-sensitive beings and attempting to bring back the jedi order or even starting their own.

after heading to takodana to deliver bb-8 to the resistance, what if rey agreed to go with finn and they started lives together in the outer rim? i think it would be interesting to see how their relationship and characterizations develop away from the events after that point, do they come to understand they are force-sensitive and try learning to use the force on their own?

like a lot of people, i have my problems with this movie, but i also think there are some great parts to jump off from. i hate how they never touch on the fact that rey is likely in a lot of agony after losing ben, especially with their bond and i want to deal with the messy aftermath.

does she stay with the resistance to help finn and poe pick up the pieces and the legacy left to them after leia used what energy she had left to try and save her son?

does she hermit away on ahch-to like luke and spend the rest of her days there or does she stay on tatooine?

maybe she does out into the galaxy looking for force-sensitive beings to train in the ways of the force, maybe finding a new master since i'm certain order 66 didn't kill everyone and many of them hid away much like obi-wan had. she could also do all of this with finn.
