REY

Seemingly abandoned by her parents on Jakku, Rey grew up a scavenger amid the wreckage of war. Her life changed when she agreed to help a droid on an urgent mission for the Resistance. Rey discovered she was powerful in the Force, and sought out the vanished Jedi Master Luke Skywalker to train her. That ended in disappointment, as did her attempt to bring Kylo Ren back to the light. But the resilient Rey continued her training and learned the truth about her parentage and her mysterious connection with Kylo. She then faced her greatest test: a confrontation with fear and evil that would determine the galaxyβs fate.

- ROMANCE AND SHIPPING shipper trash, so here for all the romance. without prior or assumed cr, it will likely be extreme slow burn, which is what i'm here for. also completely open to gen stuff if shipping isn't your thing. also good with writing smut or ftb if you prefer.
- FIGHTING not the best at writing these, but totally interested! rey is scrappy and not afraid to square up.
- TELEPATHY/PSYCHIC ABILITIES i write a lot of introspection with my characters, but rey has a resilience at keeping mental attacks thwarted. if open connection/bond with your character, she will be easier to read, but the warier she is the harder it will be to get behind her barriers. it isn't impossible, but there will be some resistance. definitely here for some forcebond stuff and things with other jedi.
- INJURIES OR DEATH totally open to injuries, i love the hurt/comfort, nursing back to health type memes. also open to having other characters injure rey, but i just ask we discuss it first. also, talk with me about death.
- CANON POINT flexible, though likely canon divergent with rise of skywalker or defaulting to the last jedi
- SHIPS though i have preferences no ship is ever assumed or required. kylo ben, finn, poe (also a fan of finn/poe/rey), maul (you know who you are), luke skywalker, and obi-wan kenobi. open to other ships, feel free to ask. f/m, f/f, f/nb, etc. shipping works for me. also open to crosscanon and original characters

- USING THE FORCE having recently discovered that she was gifted with the powers of the force, rey is unrefined in her skills, but quickly adapting and learning. after kylo ren attempted to probe her mind, and she resisted, rey used the same abilities on him, as thus gaining access to his memories, especially his training, and this served as her own training in the ways of the force. it took her three tries to use the mind trick on a stormtrooper to escape. while i would love to explore rey using and abating her newfound abilities with the force, i understand that not everyone is interested in such invasive abilities. she isn't the type to actively use her abilities on someone, so if it does come up i will be sure to warn you or give you a heads up.
